Water Quality Assessment & Monitoring
 Measuring and assessing water quality can tell us a lot about the water source and provide a knowledge base for protection and restoration. Our staff is fully equipped to provide scientific monitoring of the water quality in lakes, ponds and reservoirs. It is important to understand the condition of the waters so that we can manage and restore the water body to its original condition.
Water quality monitoring programs are developed as baseline surveys, on-going studies, or impact assessments, and include parameters such as nutrients and fertilizers, road salts, septic leachate indicators, suspended materials, and organic pollutants. We employ DGPS guidance, as well as a host of field monitoring equipment including YSI and Eureka multi-parameter meters,  Hach kits, Kemerer samplers, sediment corers, Eckmann samplers and more. With a fleet of boats and amphibious equipment, we can access any environment at any time of year to complete monitoring requirements.
